Hi all and welcome to my site, where you will find all the gear you will need, no matter your age. Fishing has been a passion of mine ever since I moved to the coast and saw the ocean for the first time. Since then, I have owned more gear than I can count.

About Me

I moved to the town of Busselton on the southwest coast of Western Australia when I was five. Having never seen the ocean before, I was immediately hooked. The town had a jetty (Peer) That was the second largest in the southern hemisphere, nearly two mile long. Back then, you could catch tuna off the end (oh the good old days) This is where the passion begun and has not left me since.

Over the years, my passion took me all over Australia. From fishing the small creeks and rivers of South Australia chasing Brown and Rainbow Trout, to catching Barramundi in the Northan Territory, to chasing Marlin and Sailfish off the Great Barrier Reef. I have fished many places and used all sorts of fishing gear.

The right tools will lead to the fish of a lifetime

One thing I have learned over the years is that bigger gear doesn’t always mean bigger the fish. I have gone out with friends that have bought the biggest reel they could find, and caught nothing, while I have pulled in fish on something half the size. It’s all about having the right tools for the job. That is what you will find on my site.
